Kendall™ Foam dressing is an ultra-soft hydrophilic foam that protects and cushions wounds and is available as a foam Island dressing, a non-adherent foam dressing and a foam non-adhesive with top sheet.
Application instructions
- Select the dressing which will provide a minimum of a 2 inch (5cm) foam margin around the edges of the wound
- If necessary, cut the dressing to size to ensure a smooth, continuous fit with the skin surface
- Kendall™ Foam dressings should be applied with the white side touching the dressing site or with top sheet up
- Place Kendall™ Foam dressing directly onto the wound surface and hold in place with an appropriate secondary dressing
- If using Kendall™ Foam Island dressings, no secondary dressing will be required
- The dressing may remain in situ for up to 7 days
