Proshield Foam & Spray
Proshield Foam and Spray cleanser is a pH balanced skin cleanser indicated for intact and injured skin associated with incontinence and for total body washing.
The lightly fragranced cleanser can be easily dispensed with one hand allowing the carer the advantages of a foam cleanser without the environmental and disposal problems of aerosols.
Applying Proshield Foam & Spray*
Proshield Foam and Spray should be applied directly onto the soiled area or onto a washcloth using either the spray or foam mode. Wipe clean, pat dry (no rinsing required) and re-apply the barrier protection.
To use the spray mode, turn the nozzle to the ON position and pull the lever in firmly.
To use the foam mode, turn the nozzle to the ON position, pull out the tip of the nozzle to allow it to foam, pull the lever in firmly.

Dos and Don'ts
To ensure optimum results follow the guidance below:
- DO use instead of soap and water as soap and water can contribute to the development of pressure ulcers. Proshield Foam & Spray is gentle and pH balanced
- DO use to cleanse both intact and injured skin associated with incontinence
- DO use to minimise the irritation of skin associated with incontinence
- DO use to remove stubborn faeces
- DO use between incontinence bouts and to remove Proshield Plus
- DO use to help eliminate odour
- DO use the foam mode for difficult to cleanse areas and where you need it to stay in place whilst cleansing
- DO NOT rinse off, just dab dry and re-apply the protective barrier
- DO NOT use as a protective barrier, use in
conjunction with Proshield Plus
